First they explore the world, Alaska, sunny Hawaii, the deep magic of Chile, the polluted, tragic beaches of Uruguay, Stormy’s first encounter with the history and depth of Europe. Together they discover the obstacles and necessity of being together, somehow. Then he comes to her small city, Dakota, the snow and cold of the northern United States, and they marry so he can stay. Can Stormy teach Gaspar to be successful in America? Should she even try? Can he teach her to love even when he disappears, when he leaves so much of his truth out of their shared life?

Past fairy tales and romantic comedies, Anchor is infused with deep yearning, self-discovery and the primal grief of being mere humans. Yet, the human heart may just besupernatural after all.
